will school close tomorrow? what do you think!

I'm thinking of take the kids out of town for a trip if the school is closed tomorrow.
what to know the chance of school closing for Friday. Any thoughts?

Depends on the amount of power outages.

Last I heard, we are expecting another round of snow later today and this evening, if so, they will be closed, if not, they should certainly be able to get the schools open barring some wide power outages (but the policy is not to keep the entire county closed when some schools have outages).

there's a foot of snow out. No way will they be able to plow everything enough to have school.

Yes, closed.

NONE of the streets inky neighborhood have even been touched by a plow. Plus more snow tonight!

Go ahead and take the kids out of town!

Oh yeah, def. closed.

Yes, they will be closed. Unequivocally, I'll bet my life on it.

Realistically if there's no additional snow, it should be no problem to re-open tomorrow. But I'm certain that no matter what there will be no school.

Closed, obviously.

I have 15 inches in mid-upper MC and no plow in sight yet. Definitely closed tomorrow. Happy Valentine's Day!

You even have to ask if MCPS would close tomorrow? Shoot, if this storm hit on a Monday they would close for the week! Remember, all sidewalks, bus stops, etc. must be clear before they can reopen.

Many of us in Montgomery County have 16+ inches, with more to come this afternoon. No way schools will be open tomorrow.

Plus, they won't be able to plow every school parking lot today. Definitely closed. I'd bet the mortgage on it.

No doubt closed. I'm just hoping that admin offices are open, or at the most delayed, so our aftercare can be open. Fingers crossed.

Yes, they will be closed. I'm in Rockville and we still haven't seen a plow in the neighborhood

No plows here in Bethesda. I'm thinking closed, not just delayed.
