Starbucks changed it's gingerbread latte. And it's gross :(

It has a molasses drizzle on it now AND it has cloves and nutmeg in the whipped cream. It's bitter and nasty.

Just ask the barista to leave out the molasses and use regular whipped cream. Voila!

They better not fuck with the eggnog latte when the time comes.

starbucks is gross in general...except for the americano, but even that is super overpriced.

I think i'd like to start a small business that only does one thing..black coffee. do it well, fast, and cheap(er) but where i save money is by speciliazation...only black coffee, and that savings i pass on to the consumer to undercut starbucks by a lot.

Agree. I treat myself to 1-2 a year. Looking forward to it!

Sorry, there's a business that already does that and has a reputation for doing it really well: McDonald's. They make a great black coffee, a true trucker's coffee. Not the McCafe stuff, just their regular coffee.

Actually the gingerbread latte was always disgusting, and your taste buds are just maturing. Congratulations!

Donno. But the red cups are back.

Who are the people who get all excited for the red cups, anyhow?

WTF? That is NOT good coffee.
It may be a true trucker's coffee, but it ain't "the good stuff".
FWIW, I don't think Starbucks is either -- over-roasted, can't taste the beans nuances. And their blonde roast doesn't do it for me.

Caribou's lighter roast is pretty good. The best is getting from a roasting house (like Lexington Coffee, or Counter Culture).
