stupid question, but how do you update? When I go to settings --> general --> software update, it says I'm up to date....with iOS 6.1.4

ITunes probably needs updating. Do that, then plug in your phone and you will be prompted to download IOS 7 |

Apple's servers are overwhelmed right now. Keep selecting "software update" and eventually it will work. |

just updated on an iphone 4 (verizon) and while the GUI looks nice and fresh, i would not recommend the update to fellow iphone 4 owners.
It taxes the iphone 4 hardware way too much and runs a little choppy. |
