People are definitely pointing out some fishy stuff about the story. But Could Kim and Kanye possibly have judgment that bad? I feel like staging this kind of thing would be insanely high risk. If they were busted, it would be like Ryan Lochte times a billion.

With high risk comes high reward. Without their reality show, they have nothing except a failed clothing line, a poorly managed music career (For someone who claims to be millions of dollars in debt, Kanye West sure didn’t think this one through! Rather than offering his album for sale, he only streamed it on Tidal, resulting in hundreds of thousands of illegal downloads when he could’ve made $10 million), two poorly received clothing lines, and her social media business. I think they felt the need to be in the spotlight.

Fair points all. In particular, I hadn't thought about how much the Tidal play was a financial screw up. But he can always make crazy money by touring, right?

Staging this would be just wildly risky beyond all reason. Going to prison for years, getting sued for gazillions in civil penalties, being ostracized from elite realms of society - all of this would be on the table.

Really, do you think they will go to prison? They have so many connections and high powered lawyers.. If they had to even go for a day, it would be televised so they make money. Either way they "win."

I don't think they staged it. But even if they did, I'm not sure how likely it would be that they'd face serious repercussions. But they WOULD be opening themselves up to the possibility.

It wouldn't surprise me if a sex tape is "leaked" as a result of the robbery.

You people are freaking delusional. She made more than 70 million this year from her app alone. Her businesses are doing fine and she's in cahoots with all the Kardashian businesses except Kendall's modeling.

Jealousy isn't a good look ladies.

And holy hell that other pp has WAY too much time on her hands

Calm down, lady. I just typed a few thoughts at the airport. Why are you posting on this thread? Stop acting so superior.

Also, I'm slightly amused that you think they don't over-inflate their profits for the sake of appearances. But you're not gullible, right?

Not jealous of Kim or any of the Kardashians. They seem like a nice enough family. But I do think they're addicted to fame and I definitely think it was staged.

By the way of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is cancelled, no one is going to buy their app. So that's another source of income that will end if their reality show's ratings don't improve in a hurry.

This was staged.

Seems like more and more people feel this was staged too. http://radaronline.com/videos/kim-kardashian-robbery-video-paris-police-apartment/

Maybe they will get their own reality show like "Robbers of the Rich and Famous?"

I agree that this was staged, but that article does not help our case. I feel like I just read a bootleg version of National Inquirer. My favorite part is that they left the "expensive" flat screen TV. Why would they if they have $10MM in their fists?! LOL

Whoops meant to say "why would take a TV if..."

So the latest I read today is that Kim thought they seemed like amateurs but the French police think they were only pretending to be amateurs.

Then a $10k necklace was left on the sidewalk? That's just crazy. Maybe they were on drugs? How hard is it to throw a bunch of jewelry in a bag and then zip the bag closed?

And if the bad guys are so inept that they're falling off their bicycles and wearing Magic Mike-style cop uniforms, how did they gain access to the building?

And how did they manage not to get photographed or on any security footage? I think she just told the police they seemed like amateurs because it was essentially telling the police not to look at the usual suspects. Because they, I'm sure, would tell the cops this is staged. Hope they get found out.

No, the article stays "A large and expensive flatscreen television stands next to the exit — left behind by the thieves"

It seems they placed it by the door, but ended up not taking it.

They would leave behind the tv bc it's impractical to steal. Much easier and quicker to take jewelry.

Isn't the tv property of the hotel? So nothing belonging to the hotel was taken so the hotel isn't implicated. That would eliminate 1 potential wildcard for Kim assuming this is all a hoax.

And I assume the tv was wall mounted? How quickly or easy is that to take down? Again, I'm surprised Kim went through great lengths to make it look legit.

Right? It's kind of hard to be stealth while stealing a giant tv and a get away on a bike. Haha.

That article was horrible but this is totally the works of Kim and kayne.
