Yes. I did not produce milk. I have no worries about it though. I was advised by a lactation consultant not to BF.

I BF'd #1 - who does not seem much more special than #2.

I did for 2.5 months until we found out that DS' medical issues were caused by my breastmilk. Turned to formula and never looked back. And the little guy so far is pretty advanced for his age!

My friend has a 12 year old who she didn't breastfeed for her own medical reasons (life changing medication she had to take she could not take while breastfeeding). Her child is a genius.

And I have 2 friends who have adopted in the last couple of years and they did not breast feed either.

I needed heavy duty meds due to serious complications during the delivery.

My milk never came in.

Baby had such a severe milk protein allergy that he ended up being hospitalized for a week after he was born and the docs put him on special prescription formula to stop the nonstop explosive diarrhea that caused him to drop two pounds within days of his birth.

Any of these satisfy you, OP? Or am I a horrible mom because I didn't BF?

There are tons of reasons why women can't or choose not to BF.

Not producing milk in itself is very rare. Producing milk for one child but not another is almost unheard of. This is exceedingly, exceedingly rare.

Child #2 couldn't latch so I exclusively pumped for a year.

There are tons of reasons why women can't or choose not to BF.

Cows only lactate (as with all mammals) for their young. Not for other species to steal their milk.

How about - if you tell me how often you have sex with your husband? How often your masturbate? How often you pick your nose? How often you get a yeast infection?

OP here, I didn't BF either that's why I asked. I didn't because I was put on BP medication and I was worried about it harming my baby. But I have had people act like I made the worst decision in the world.
