Fairfax County Double Murder

There are facts that apply to both. Why would you assume or imply that I don't care who murdered Christine? I want justice for both victims and safety for the little girl.

Full video episode of Nancy Grace covering the case. It’s not adding up BB.

I'm glad to see Nancy Grace did an episode on this one. Definitely not looking good, BB.

Sometimes cases take time to build, whether Brian Walshe, Mark Winger, the one at link or cases closer to home.

Nancy Grace's report is largely accurate but a few minor and/or editing errors take away a bit of accuracy. Picture with the Xmas tree is from their former Long Island house, not Fairfax. CB was not schedule to go to work that morning. BB did not return to the house from work. Lastly in NG's opinion that AP should not have been too suspicious of person going in house because there aren't homeless people in the area. Clocktower plaza (where BB was waiting at McDonalds) is plagued with homeless people.

Neighbor here. There are no homeless people in our neighborhood. Clocktower plaza is not walking distance from the house. NG is correct with that assumption.

NG did highlight the credibility issues re: a "need" for taking the child into the house with a purported home invasion in progress (both AP and BB) and "need" for a second gun from another room/second shooter when a trained LEO had a loaded gun in hand. I believe a jury will have similar reactions. I believe the latter was a set up of AP if need be. Not sure how she understood it but it was set up months in advance with repeated trips to gun range. Maybe some Bonnie & Clyde or "Last of the Real Ones" kind of thing, but I think BB wanted belt and suspenders. It's working, he's currently free and she is in a cage. YMMV.

It’s in PT but It shows texts messages from Juliana with a friend.
First, she was asking (13 days after the crime), if her friend was gonna go to a Brazilian party happening in VA, saying she really wanted to go but needed a ride. Funk is a very sexy and provocative type of music in Brazil, with explicit s3x lyrics.

Second, she was asking a friend that works on Uber if she always gets tips from customers. She asked if she should be worried that her boyfriend (BB) is always getting tips from passengers and she wanted to know if that was common. Maybe she was jealous of him?

Anyways…

The YT channel has a whole series of videos on the case, including covering recent hearings. Really excellent find, PP. Set the subtitles to translate and dive in.

In the video re: the prelim he mentions AP and BB making eye contact as hearing was ending. Later, when he is leaving, BB did not look her way, but she was still trying to catch his eye. She is likely to be convicted based on her own testimony and he may not be charged for a long time, but eventually it is likely. I wonder how she sees this ending for her? How does she benefit from her silence? It's clear how BB does.

It does seem to be a bit of a conflict that he is paying her lawyer when they have different interests. Is her lawyer incentivized to discourage her from taking a plea deal? Her silence has sure worked out well for BB. $ well spent, indeed.

Neighbor here as well, and yes homeless people can move pretty easy from Clocktower to Iron Forge, etc. I'm not saying a homeless person was involved in case, but that homeless people in number exist pretty darn close to us. Have you seen the encampment by the Reston Library/Reston District Fairfax Police. Hundreds.

Also, NG overstated the "wealth" of the neighborhood calling our (yes I live there) houses McMansions. McMansions are those you see along Hunter Mill. We have nice yet still cookie-cutter homes.

Another neighbor just want to chime in. I have lived here for 20 years and have not seen a homeless person walking around the neighborhood. If there's an unknown vehicle parked outside of my house, my first initial thought would be a contractor/cleaning service and not a homeless person......

"Wealth" can be subjective. A regular person would consider a neighborhood with million dollar houses a wealthy one (just checked Zillow and the houses in this neighborhood are worth $1-1.3M).

This. The AP is familiar with the neighborhood. Very bizarre that her first assumption of an unknown parked vehicle at 7 in the morning is an intruder.

Someone made an interesting comment on that Nancy Grace video. I'm not familiar with the case details, but someone mentioned they think the husband stabbed the wife before the male victim was lured there that morning and then shot him. Is that a possibility with what has come out so far? Was the husband ever arrested?

He has not yet been arrested but is clearly the target of an ongoing investigation per comments by LE officials and at hearings.
