I for one can't stand her and think she's a marginal talent. |
Someone's gotta be the winner though. |
I don't like her because it seems she tries to hard to be normal. Her mouth is wide and it bothers me. I used to feel the same way about Julia Roberts, but she's somehow grown into her mouth. |
Deep. |
Maybe because she's young, eautiful and successful and you bitches are just a bunch of jealous hage. Really! Who else would even ask such a question? |
Maybe because she tries too hard to be aloof and uncaring about things like Academy Awards when in fact everything she does feels calculated and planned for that very purpose.
This video sums up that point: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y4yxsRRnvkE |
I think you guys are putting too much thought into this.
She's an actress. How could possibly hate someone you know so little about? |
I don't hate her, but she bothers me. It's primarily because I don't like the phony modesty, little ol' me thing she does when interviewed, especially in the lead up to the Oscars. It came across as insencere. I'm also not crazy about her acting. I think she is a good actress, but not a great actress. |
Never met the woman. How could I possibly say whether I "hate" her? She's an actress. A pretty good one, too, evidently. |
Hathaway is like toy poodle, yippy, sheltered, needs a special haircut every week. I prefer a yellow lab like Jennfier Lawrence. |
I think the article pointed out that she comes across as very affected and actress-y. It's grating. But I cannot say I hate her. My guess is that deep down, like most actresses, she desperately wants to be liked and accepted and it manifests itself neediness that comes through in interviews, etc. |
Perfect! |
I don't hate her in the least. She seems fine to me, and I imagine it can be hard to be relaxed and natural with so much attention on you. I'm not aware of anything mean or malicious she has done. While she may not be Meryl Streep, she's perfectly acceptable. I feel bad for her with this current widespread "We hate Anne Hathaway" campaign; it feels very junior high-mean girl.
Now Keira Nightly is the one I don't love! |
This. She's doing her job. (Although I am with the person who is annoyed by Kiera Knightly, but only because she gets all these great roles that other actresses would be so much better in.) |
Love this, too. |
