Here's a chance to move into one of the preppiest streets in America

Lowell lane is as preppy as they come. Just this street alone has guaranteed your DCs admission into the Cathedral schools and any small New England college from Middlebury to Mt Holyoke. Jump on this ladies.

The furniture is more "trying too hard" than prep. The decor looks recently purchased and is a bit too showy. Also, I think that house is in Spring Valley, right? If it were on Lowell in Cleveland Park, I might agree with you.

Kent. And Cleveland Park isn't preppy. It's wealthy hippy.

World's smallest kitchen for a $2M+ home!

The house is in the heart of Kent and priced really well for the neighborhood.

Looking at those pics is like getting a glimpse into the lives of privileged America. Awesome life.

Looks like the roof is a mess.

Not preppy, just really dull inside. The house is nice but furniture has zero personality. Just beige beige beige everywhere....

Love that house, the decor does not look at all overdone to me - in fact if anything some of the rooms are a little sparse. They probably signficantly decluttered for the photos/sale. It looks like normal people live there, unlike some of th photos posted of the houses with all the intricate moldings, miles of drapes and swags, etc. I'd swap the brass hardware in the kitchen for chrome though. The brass looks dated.

I especially like the girl's room - may use some of those ideas in my DDs room.

Really? I feel like my 320k house is much nicer.

I like the little sunroom, and the master bath is nice. Other than that ... meh.

Does this come with some kind of guarantee. Like if my son doesn't get into Mount Holyoke, could I get my money back? I like those odds!

I have now seen too much beige for one day.

other than that, I like it.

Not OP, but "preppy" has always seemed pretty dull to me.

Like this house. Meh. And I just don't see the appeal of upper NW in general, especially this outpost.
