Changing Undies - Bedtime/Morning or Both?

Help with with conversation my husband and I had this morning. I have the kids change their underwear at night after bathtime and then new undies in the morning when getting dressed for school.
This morning I realized -- to my surprise - that when my DH is supervising, they don't change in the morning. He claims they only slept in them so they are not dirty (?!) To be fair, if they are wearing loose PJs, especially on hot nights like last night, I have them go commando so it's not an issue. But I could not imagine not getting a fresh pair when getting dressed in the AM! (I know that sometimes underwear convos on here are accused of being trolls - this is honestly a question that came up this morning) |

| My girls ages 6 and 13 insist upon sleeping in underwear. I can't stand to do so myself. I insist upon making them change their underwear after nightly showers and again in the morning. Fresh is best and they have tons of underwear. My 6 year old will have a terrible sweaty smell "down there" if she doesn't change her undies in the a.m. and sometimes I make her get into the tub before school. TMI> |

| I can't believe people have a pair only for sleeping. We change ours once a day and usually go commando at night. If DD does wear underwear to sleep then she continues to wear it the next day because its still clean. |

Same here. The only time I wear underwear to bed is occasionally when I have my period and worry about slight leaks. |

DD doesn't take a bath every day, so she changes undies in the morning. If she has taken a bath the night before, she doesn't have to change undies in the morning, but usually will out of habit.
If your kids go commando at night, do they wear a fresh set of PJs every night? Just curious. |
