If you believe your vote is important, then get to the polls. Outside of being bed ridden or out of town, there are very few other excuses. If you think it's an inconvenience, then too bad.

Many people work and cannot get to polls on a Tuesday.
Many people have elder or child care and cannot get to polls on a Tuesday.
Many places have limited the number of polling places causing long lines, hours long. How do you get to work when you are stuck in line for hours?
Many places have limited the number of voting booths in their polling places causing long lines, hours long. How do you get to work when you are stuck in line for hours?

I could go on, but it is BS, because you like to think everyone fits into some perfect box.

So your response is to post a meme rather than acknowledge that not everyone can just drive to their polling place and walk right in, no lines, and vote.

Bully for you. That is not the experience of most people.

That's not the experience of most people - by design. These Republicans know they can only hold onto power so long as they make it as hard as possible for people to vote.

The irony being that their suppression tactics backfire as often as they succeed, and lead to MORE turnout - no one wants to be told they can't exercise their right. See: Wisconsin n April.

You make it happen. Do you understand? Tired of the whiny teenage attitude.

I understand so many people were not in the military so they have zero concept of discipline and can-do, but this place is RIDICULOUS. Get a grip.

There’s the total and complete lack of empathy and critical thinking that typifies Republican thinking,

Dowless was indicted along with seven alleged co-conspirators. The operative was the alleged ringleader in a scheme instructing his co-conspirators to sign certifications that falsely stated they had seen a voter vote by absentee ballot, and improperly mailing in absentee ballots for someone who had not mailed it themselves.

Trump and his Republican supporters always accuse others of the crimes they commit.

That isn't how the U.S. works. We have a right to vote. The government can not impose undue restrictions on that right. The government's job is to protect that right.

GOP has always done better with absentee ballots and vote by mail is a variation of that.

Exactly. Let's just end all mail in balloting. Absentee, mail-in, all of it.

Next thing is voting altogether. Be careful what you wish for.

Masks work so no reason not to vote in person, right?

Stop with the logic and reason. There's no room for that here.

So?

Many people have been voting by mail for a while. WH press secretary has been doing so for years. Trump did. Why can't everyone else? I have been for years, too, even when I used to be a R. Why was it fine before but now it's not?

Nope. I can't verify who you are or that you ordered or submitted a ballot on your own. It's rife with avenues for fraud. Forget your "affirmation statements".

You are not to be trusted.
