What do you consider "super long"? Mine (real nails, not acrylics) stick out about half a cm above the top of my finger. I had to cut them short a couple of months ago because I tore a few off and it was a very odd sensation to actually be touching things with my fingertips again, they felt super sensitive.
I grow my nails because I think it looks elegant and feminine like this neway look Kind of like why I have long hair, and shave my legs. I like how it looks. |
That is too long for my taste. 3-4 mm is how much I'd allow it to grow. Beyond that it honestly looks witchy. This is one trend I just don't get the appeal of |
That above picture is ugly. Way too long. |
Your nails look beautiful. |
That's not 1/2 cm. ^^ |
I don't like the look.
I use my hands. My nails never extend past my fingertips and usually just have the tiniest mm or two of white. Maybe sometimes as long as 4-5 mm. |
Don't ask me, mine look like this:
|
This is about as long as I'd go (love the color).
|
People wear them because they like them. Next question? |
I have really long nail beds. And super healthy nails. So, they quickly go from being nice/neat to dragon-like. I almost always wear Essie Mademoiselle, so hopefully I don't look like a hooker. But there are definitely times when my nails are too long. And I am terrible at doing them, so I wait until my next mani appt. |
pretty! what color is that? |
They call these coffin nails. Creepy. |
I am not a nail polish person myself, but I think your nails look nice. That length should be the limit. And the color is very pretty. |
