What does eggnog taste like?

Tastes like eggs and nutmeg; not a fan. You could try making a small batch at home.

The lesser quality bigs have a weird mouthfeel due to the thickening additives they use. Real egg nog from scratch is whipped until airy and light so it's kind of like drinking a cinnamon-scented creamy cloud. Trickling Springs nog is probably the best store bought variety but has more of a thick smoothie texture, like drinking a melted vanilla milkshake. The alcohol does help to balance the creaminess though extra nog tastes great in coffee and makes an excellent base for bread pudding, even ice cream.

So they are not ok in pregnancy? NP here and i never tasted it before but it sounds delicious. Do you think one from Starbucks would be ok to try when 9 months pregnant?

It tastes like sweet nutmeg flavored mucus unless you make it yourself and then it is sublime.
