Hillarys husband Bill ruined it all for her. The thought of 2 Clintons after 2 Bush's no no no |
As a man, when Sarah speaks it reminds me of my cousin's idiot wife who is full of bits of wisdom that sound like they came from reader's digest, thinks that common sense should explain everything from viruses to medicine to world affairs to the workings of the universe, and therefore truly believes she is an authority on any topic. The only difference between her and Sarah Palin is that Palin got lucky once - she got elected to Governor of Alaska. And how did that actually go? She quit halfway through, and the verdict from Alaskans: 36% approval rating as of April 2011. So those who know her the best, who actually lived under her "leadership", think she is full of shit. |
I agree with President Clinton....I hate Hillary too. |
Is your cousins wife as hot as Sarah, does she run marathons and know how to feed her family hunting/fishing, have a reality show, raise a handicapped child and have 4 other attractive and well-adjusted kids, raise tons of money for her issues and causes, wright books, be a former mayor and a former governor, absorb difficulty and attacks still looking hot? If so....lucky cousin. |
Also, in addition to wrighting books, does she believe dinosaurs and humans existed on the earth at the same time? Also, please let us all know - is she hot? Sarah Palin is a reality TV figure, nothing more, nothing less. She may have had the opportunity to be more than that, but she proved herself to be incapable of anything other than causing a buzz on the 24-hr news cycle. She has actually ACCOMPLISHED nothing. Bristol Palin has no need to write a memoir at the age of 20 about being a teen mom, drinking wine coolers, or trashing another family because she is feeling like picking a fight with someone who hurt her mom's feelings. |
To let you know my biases: I'm a liberal and proud of it. I don't think much of Palin, but think we liberals tend to exaggerate her faults, much as some of the posters here exaggerate her virtues.
IMHO, the tragedy of Palin is that she succumbed to temptation when Satan came to her in the form of an old war hero and offered her fame beyond her dreams. |
She looks like she's packing on the pounds. Not something I'd bring up, but since apparently "hot" is part of the criteria for President these days, I think she is getting jowly. |
LOL !!! |
Neither is hot. Seriously, you have a fetish. She is the average lady in carpool, except she has extra money to spend on clothes, hair and a spiffy set of glasses. She does hunt and fish. She does not have a reality show, but do you generally admire reality show stars? Teen Amber, the Kardashians, John and Kate, real housewives, project runway? Seriously, reality show means your life story provides other people amusement. |
Admit it...she's fascinating |
I was referring to her winning the governor's race in Alaska. She upended the Republican establishment and was a breath of fresh air. Todd had nothing to do with it. Unlike Hilary, her political career was of her own making. She had personality, integrity and drive, Her big mistake was accepting the VP slot because she wasn't ready for it. On the other hand, we ended up with a clueless president who never led as much as a Boy Scout Jamboree and seems to be on one continuous path of on the job training. What a joke. Palin had her weak spots, but she would have been a VP. Obama wasn't qualified to a cabinet member, let alone president. He barely knew where the Senate restrooms were. But it was all about the narrative. What a great personal story. Too bad the country is further in the crapper. |
Well you brought up Hillary's performance as Secy of State, so I think it is relevant to consider how Palin would do in the same job. Prepare for disappointment in 2012. Obama is doing fine. By election year, he is going to have a long list of accomplishments. Meanwhile, the field of GOP candidates can't even agree on what needs to be done with the country. |
Unlike 1992, when the Q4 GDP was a red hot +5%, it really is the economy stupid. Underemployment is at post Depression highs. African American unemployment is at an all time high. The Stimulus was a total bust. His economic team has quit and he has no real economic intelligence of his own. On the foreign policy front, he's adopted more of Bush's ideas than he has rejected. He will loose big time. Democrats were foolish to have nominated him. He wasn't ready. They fell in love with the narrative. The country looks foolish. Talk about buyer's remorse. |
Yeah, let me know when the Republicans understand that it is the economy, stupid.
They really think it is taxes, and abortion, and gay rights, and immigrants, and foreign policy, and all the things that they always thought. This is their achilles heel. You say it but you don't mean it. You haven't, and you won't. |
I think they know it's the economy, and they will keep trying to sabotage it, figuring the majority of voters will be stupid enough to blame Obama. |
