When is too old to go to concerts?

Go and enjoy yourself, OP.

You only have one life.

I go to classical concerts, so I don't have this specific problem

Took my kids to see sleater Kinney on a school night at the anthem. I loved them in college in the 90s. It was a very tame, nor listening, tea slipping crowd. It was fine. Had to leave before they got to play Dig me Out bc it was a school night.

I like to go but I hate standing the whole time. There’s a seated area you can pay to sit in, I’d upgrade to that.

Just go and have fun! Don't worry about what others may think. Enjoy yourself!

I'd say you're too old when you are there and think "I'm too old for this shit."

You're too old when you're dead.

I don’t think I’ve ever looked around at a concert crowd and said “OMG that person is too old!” The only time I remember someone from a crowd is if they get ejected (or should). You do you.

Never too old. My 54 year old husband goes to shows all the time at 9:30, Anthem etc. He is a huge Bob Mould fan and he loves that the show is full of other dads, often bringing their teens with them.

Too Old? Perhaps when if you get dementia in your 90s or something like that?

My parents are approaching 70 and still rock out to concerts once in a while. Have a blast, OP!

Taking DD and her friend to Billie Eilish - and I am as excited as they are. There is no age limit as far as I'm concerned.

You will have so much fun! I am in my late 40s and went with my daughter. Just a few months ago I attended an hozier concent and saw there were other older people too. No one really cares OP and you may meet some nice people while there.

My dad once went to a ludacris concert because my mom wouldn’t let my teenage brother go alone. It was standing up only, my brother would not let my father be near him, and my dad came from his law office in a suit and tie. You’ll be fine!
This is hilarious. Also, I agree with this poster. Go, have fun. There's not much better than live music.
