White SUV vs Black SUV moms

We have a black Honda Odyssey and our son got fake S scrolls sword things to place on the sides during Halloween trunk or treat week.

All the rich private school families in our NW DC neighborhood drive giant black SUVs - Yukons, Suburbans, Wagoneer or Grand Cherokee, etc.

I associate the black SUVs with private school families. White SUVs and Teslas proliferate at our local public school (we are one of them!).

This is doubtful. If people were willing to pay for an aftermarket paint job then they’d be more than willing to pay for a custom factory color. Most German manufacturers have a custom paint program like this.
