DP. Our DC with a 1390 (reported) will also be entering UVA Arts and Sciences this fall. 1400 is by no means too low for UVA.

1430 DC got Presidential Scholarships from GW and AU. 4.88 GPA MCPS wide range of EC’s. Not sure if that helps you, OP.

Ds with 1430 majoring in math. Submitted everywhere. Accepted in state at W&M and Virginia tech. Rejected at Notre Dame

my kid got 1540. rejected at most schools, all the top 20. pretty strong GPA, courses were good.
i think it was a very competitive year.

My kid who had better scores than that got WL to the T15-T20 (WashU, Rice) but accepted to T10s.
Nothing is predictable.


My kid with a lesser score got rejected and accepted at T50s, T100s and T10s. They came out all over the place. Going to a T10.
