Children remembering past lives

My kid said creepy things too that I’ve told others so won’t repeat but I think he was remembering another life! It sounded lovely though!

Oh my, my eldest child did this. He would talk about his “old house” in great detail, all about the exterior and the gardens, and how he would spend the day, he would tell me story after story after story, it was so strange. He only lived in one house with us. My other child never did this.

When my little brother learned to talk in full sentences right before 2, he would SOB and profusely apologize for being an alcoholic and all the people he hurt in the process.

Absolutely zero exposure to alcohol let alone alcoholics. It totally freaked my mom out.

Yes I’ve had past life visions but rarely.

My brother and I shared a room when we were kods up into our teens. He would speak in German or other guttural lanhuages in his sleep.

I think that all of these weird “glitches in the matrix” such as ghosts, near death experiences, possesions, ufo/uap, remembering past lives, etc, are all related. I suspect that the spirit collective intelligence (Jesus or however you believe in God) world is just on the other side of the curtain and we see confusing glimpses of it periodicaly. We won’t know whats on the other side until we leave this world where we’re confined to three dimensions and a defined span of time.

My mom believed that the family members who have passed on pick out the new baby in heaven that will join the family.

Kind of a sweet idea…

Wow!

If you videotaped it, you should show that researcher at UVA!

Kids pick up and retain the craziest knowledge, even when very young. Our son would repeat stuff from conversations between my spouse and I multiple days later. He was absorbing it while playing in the next room over, despite not being a part of our conversation. Same goes for your young kid listening to NPR in car - they are absorbing everything. Some kids retain that info like an encyclopedia at an abnormally young age and regurgitate it at a later date.

Did you read the article? It doesn't sound like that.

DD never did anything like this, but DS went through a phase around 3 when he would talk about “when he used to live in New York” and his brothers and sisters that he had at the time. I think it only lasted a couple of months and then he never mentioned it again.

Just read this article today. The story about Ryan, the boy who remembered being a Hollywood extra, and the house he lived in, and the color of the car he drove…was all verified. His parents tracked down the children of the man from his previous life, who died in 1964. EVERYTHING checked out.😳

My kid firmly believes that we, her parents, are going to grow to be little kids. She also says weird things that we don't now where she picked them up. That doesn't mean we're going to be reincarnated, it just means shes confused about time and we don't hear everything she hears.

Sounds legit!

Wut? Fetuses do not have such a memory. Do you remember being born?

I remember seeing something on tv years ago regarding this. A boy remembered being a doctor here in the US in a previous life. He remembered his previous name and where he lived. They interviewed people who knew the doctor and located his grave.

I don’t know what to think. It’s weird and creepy and also kind of profound all at the same time. This is the UVA institute mentioned in the article: https://med.virginia.edu/perceptual-studies/ We like to think we know everything but we don’t. The universe is truly a mystery if you really stop to think about it. I’m Christian and I’m not sure how to integrate possible reincarnation into my worldview, but if anything it makes me even more confident in my spirituality.
