It's not at all competitive. But I can't speak to the coaching or player development. Only game results and how the team looks on the field.

Sorry to hear. He’s a 2015? I posted up thread, but wait until August and ask to practice with the team. There are sometimes openings mid-year, and at a minimum, it will set him up to make it next year. I did this years ago and see probably half a dozen kids do it at VYS every year.

Yep. 2015s had 5 teams at U9, and should stay at 5 teams for U10.

They need to figure out how to field a 5th team at U12 and U12. This would build the talent pool, and keep the funnel from narrowing as much.
