Lol 😂 that's the correct answer!!!

So who eats the less than perfect ones?

Not knowing how to make compote or jam

Meh, I only eat the best bites of everything. That’s how you stay thin. Heavy people often eat the whole plate or finish the overripe strawberries because they don’t want to be wasteful, but it just means they eat more.

But do you just leave the worse bites for others? Or just let them deteriorate and turn foul? That's not good

Definitely this. Learning not to clear your plate like a Depression era child is key for people with weight problems. It’s about learning to control portions. Overeating is the problem for the people who complain about this like OP.

This with a touch of ADHD (it's not selfish, it's just the need for immediate gratification). People are so judgmental.

Hoarding disorder.
Anonymous
It's hoarding because it's not about using what you have or even noticing what you have. It's about accumulating because of some impulse to buy strawberries
Anonymous
Probably someone who doesn't want to eat bad strawberries, but knows that other people might not consider those berries bad, so they leave them in case someone else wants them. It would be wasteful to toss them if someone else wants them. If they threw them out after taking the ones they want, you'd be on here calling them wasteful (perfectly good for a sauce!).

Not throwing them out once they are moldy is just lazy.

No disorder involved. Very common.

Someone with money to burn

... while knowing it could be done, so aware that throwing out the mediocre but edible berries is wasteful. Such a conundrum.

It's called someone else's problem

This. Some of these responses are wild and I hope people are kidding.

This is a "disorder" on the same level with my husband's penchant for filling glasses to the brim with ice and water, taking two sips, and then leaving them around the house. It is weird and annoying but I'm not trying to get him a diagnosis. It's just an irritating personal habit that I've learned to let go of.

This. It's probably not a disorder (though it could be an OCD thing, if there are other signs/symptoms). It's more likely they just eat raw strawberries only, and grew up either where there was enough money to waste, or where someone else did the prepwork for proper use of the "duds".
