Some parents just couldn't handle an AA woman running the schools. They were out to get her from day 1.

And yet, an AA woman was hired to replace McKnight. Huh.

She is only interim.
Wait and watch DCUM, White Bethesda and Potomac Moms' heads explode if they name her the permanent Superintendent.

They can probably just Beidleman on her too. I mean sure it happened mostly under a previous super but that never stopped them before.

Enough already. Enjoy your $1.3 million and stop trying to deflect from your own incompetence.

They pinned Beidleman's antics on Monifa when this went on before her tenure so wouldn't surprise me if they found a way to blame Felder too.

Well then all Felder has to do is not lie to the board and not ignore claims of harassment. Seems very achievable!

I think it's important to keep knocking down this lie, just in case new people happen along this thread and don't know what actually happened.

Yes, some of the sexual harassment and bullying did span multiple superintendent administrations. However, the big scandal here is not that one man behaved very badly. The scandal is that many credible reports of that bad behavior were ignored, and he was promoted despite all involved knowing about the harassment and bullying.

Then, the Washington Post launched an investigation that ultimately revealed that McKnight's office suppressed the original report showing bad behavior, suspended the investigator who had been tasked with putting together that report, lied to the Board of Education about what they knew and when they knew it, and then falsified official documentation when they got caught.

All of this happened under McKnight or was done by her directly. That's why we are still talking about this, because there was a wide-ranging conspiracy led by Dr. McKnight to protect one bad actor.

Does this systematic bully dynamic contribute to the procedure of nonsupport and active bullying of admin to inflate grades and ignore violence when considering classroom climate? Also are teachers let go when they try to get all of this chaos under control which they believe is their job? Do they have a leg to stand on in court as MCPS is continually sued for this corruption.

For various reasons, teachers are bullied by some administrators, and yes, including, at times, about grading. Bullying is a management technique in MCPS. It's bad for the institution and I wish administrators had to continually take management classes so they can develop appropriate skills in managing their staff.

The bullying dynamic starts at the top of the MCPS food chain. The fish rots from the head.

Who has said that? Everyone I know in central office has said that she is just as bad as McKnight, if not worse.

Consider the possibility that each of you knows different people in central office.

The Beidleman's things for which he was anonymously accused went on before McKnight was super. I think he was only promoted at the beginning of her term. She likely jhust followed the recommendations of the CO.

He was promoted last June, not at the beginning of her term. And if she did not do her due diligence when selecting candidates to promote, then that is on her.

That would be a failure of leadership on her part.

The question is whether she was complicit in the coverup. She and Beidlemsn were friends and vacationed together. Did she look the other way when these accusations were brought to her attention?
