Dublin, Copenhagen, London, or Amsterdam spring break 2025?

We spent time in Copenhagen this past Christmas and loved it and how child friendly it is. I've been to Dublin but it's been over 15 years and we've never been to Amsterdam.

I'm kind of leaning away from Dublin because I would want to explore more of Ireland and a week is a short time to do that. I'm leaning more toward the other 3 but not sure!

My spring break is the 1st week of April, so a little later than the past few years. I imagine all 3 of those cities would have lovely flowers and be cool but springy.

Recommendations??

I’ve been to Amsterdam with children a lot with children but not to Dublin or Copenhagen.

I think that going to the Netherlands with small children can be great. Example: The tulips are pretty, and the big tulip showcase building has fabulous playgrounds.

The possible downside is the canals. If your 5-year-old might run away and accidentally fall into the canals, or might decide to go swimming without telling you, the Netherlands would be a terrible place to go.

Assuming that your 5-year-old is water safe, I think the secret to enjoying the Netherlands might be to stay in Delft instead of Amsterdam, then focus mainly on going to playgrounds, playspaces and children’s museums around Delft and The Hague, instead of fighting the crowds in Amsterdam. M
