Juliet or Julianna?

Anonymous
I know several Juliets and Julias. I don’t know a single one who goes by Julie- which seems not as pretty to me.

I like Juliet! As a kid I knew a Juliet and often thought of Shakespeare but I don’t feel that way now when I hear it.

Julianna is just one syllable more but it feels like a mouthful. That would get nicknamed quicker.

My eight year old is Juliette. Never met another one and she's never been called Julie by anyone. She would reject it she loves her name! I wanted her to go by Jules and still Juliette has stuck.

I have a Juliet in elementary and no one has ever called her Julie. We use Jules.

I like Julia way better than either of those, with Julianne a far second.

How many Juliets and Juliannas do you all know? And does any of them go by nicknames?

I know one Julianna. Close friends/family call her JuJu or just Ju as a nickname.
