That sounds like a great idea, honestly. Especially if you have a late start school and an early riser kid you have copious time for something like that. |
What do you guys think - are we getting notification today? |
I hope so but who knows |
If I were a betting woman, I’d say this afternoon. |
Anyone hear? |
All the previous posters mentioned it would be today and is yes it would arrive by 3-4 . Did anyone received notification? |
Nothing yet |
We received the AAP newsletter earlier today, which we've never received before, and it had information on how to apply for Level II and III. It seemed to me that it might be an early indicator that my child did not get into Level IV, so we should consider applying for lower levels. |
It might be today but with Spring Break being early it wouldn’t surprise me if it was sent out at the end of Spring Break instead. There are those 2 teacher work days on Monday and Tuesday. |
My 3rd grader is *currently* in Level III and advanced math and we got that email on Wednesday. I’m not sure if it means what you think it does. |
I would not be sure of this. That letter comes from a totally different office. |
Adding more info: I searched my email and saw that we’ve received the same email every March since 2022, my kid’s first spring in FCPS. She was in 1st grade then, was new to the school, and we had never applied for any AAP services. So I don’t think receiving that email is meaningful. |
I looked at the thread for last year and it appears people started posting they got an email around 445-5pm, both acceptance and rejection. So today could still be in play. If it goes past 515pm without hearing anything then they just didn't have enough time to get everything together.
Fwiw, this is our first year in FCPS and we did not get any AAP email today. |
Thanks! |
They like to time things strategically so they don't have to talk to anyone until after the break. |
