Katherine Schwarzenegger clothing line is awful

9:48 nailed it.

It’s okay but nothing special. The puffed sleeves are awful. I know others are using this style right now but I hate it. She overdoes it too.

The dresses she’s modeling look like big black sacks. Just blah.

Here's how it feels. It's like whoever designed it (and it wasn't Katherine, get real) was a Project Runway contestant who has somewhat minimal background in fashion, good construction skills, and borderline taste. However, they made a really cute matched set with shorts and a button down in week 3 using an upholstery textile that shouldn't have worked but kind of did, and Heidi loved it and kept saying "I would wear it! I would totally wear it!" And then in week 8 they made a genuinely pretty one shoulder maxi dress with this dramatic flounce in a really wow color and it looked fantastic on the runway and the model really worked it. And every other week they turned in some puff sleeve sundress that the judges were bored by, but it was reasonably well made and not a total travesty, so they kept advancing.

And then they get to the finals and it's obvious they're in way over their head and trying to capture the magic of the two good looks but maybe they weren't that good after all? I mean it was a matched set made out of couch fabric and a one-shoulder dress. And actually all they can do is buy these borderline ugly prints and make a puff sleeve and full skirt and actually, uh, that's not interesting or innovative or flattering and everyone hates it but they clap politely and are like "you're doing your thing, that's great!" before moving on to the actual contenders.

Cleobella just has that very specific vibe.

I read this and was like, “too many words.” And then I looked at the collection and realized it’s spot-on. Very Project Runway runner-up.

Ugly and expensive

So.many.ruffles.

I actually like some of the patterns and prints. But there is no need to throw on all the extra fabric.

I don’t think the clothes are that bad. It feels like I’m looking at Ann Taylor Loft or something. I’d wear some of these, if I put myself in a category it would be “professional and fun” but wouldn’t call myself highly fashionable.

She’s quite unattractive looks like a witch like her mom and grandmother more everyday, she shouldn’t try and model anything. I know it’s mean but it’s hard not to be as she is so full of herself doing makeup tutorials, why, as if anyone wants to look at her scary face pre or post makeup she doesn’t look good. Yet she’s the perfect rep for her generation, thinks she’s pure glam and attractive and can teach us about fashion and makeup wtf she’s the most homely looking preppy snob of all time. She once posted a pic or room full of trophies and mentioned some of the awards, some garbage like “most improved ability to sit in chair and draw a line” and I thought wow she’s bold- totally mocking trophy kids unintentionally but she’s not even aware she just thinks she’s all that it’s so cringe 😬

But Kylie Jenner also released a terrible fashion line as well and hers sold out immediately so maybe her team thought that the fame would be enough to get people to buy

Except Kylie is actually famous and KS is not.

I agree it’s a bad line. Not even sure who the customer is supposed to be.

She seems like a sweet person.

No she’s not a sweet person . I don’t understand how Maria raised such a pos human.

Nothing about her is nice or intelligent or kind .

Agree this is a totally misinformed vanity project. Scarlet Johansson having a skincare line makes sense because she is aspirational. Katherine is….not.

Some of it reminds me of walking into a Laura Ashley shop in the 1980s. My mother loved that tacky shit.
