Birthday Party Ideas for 9 Year Old Boy

Most reputable places can accommodate food allergies for liability reasons, so there shouldn't be a reason to exclude a kid. My 8 year old DS loves cooking, rock climbing, swimming, legos, and the theatre. Do what your kid loves.

If anyone is still looking for rock climbing, we had my son's 8th birthday at sportrock in Alexandria (I think it's sportrock.com), the kids had a great time. Also for laser tag folks in VA, there is an ultrazone in Bailey's Crossroads.
