bought a pair that i thought were really comfortable (veronicas) but have plantar fascitis right now and need more arch support. my regular inserts (superfeet) do not fit. boot is too small since I can't remove the sole in the boot. are the others that people have used successfully? |
If you have plantar fasciatis, you should be wearing flats with a custom orthotic, not Frye boots or anything with a heel. |
NP, here who also suffers from planter fasciatis, and I actully feel the least discomfort when I wear a 1-2inch heel. Wearing flats makes it worse. |
OP: was told by the podiatrist that flats are the worst. a small heel is better as it takes pressure off your heel. |
Flats and flip flops can be as bad for one's feet as stilletos. |
Well, by "flat", I meant athletic shoes, which is what I am wearing now with custom inserts. I didn't mean a ballet flat with no support whatsoever. |
Uh. Wrong. |
try pedags, they make a half length arch support that is fairly thin. Corrective shoe repair carries them. Perhaps Richey shoes as well |
I use orthotics made by Spenco. There are lots of types to pick from. |
