I hear you-DH and I are typically the only ones without kids whenever we go anywhere! We end up hanging out with the older people whose kids are grown and out of the house

I think more and more couples choose not to have children. Especially in Europe. there are 20 countries have negative population growth.

Majority of Americans still want multiple children in their families. I think it is fine as long as the kids are well taken care of.

After multiple IVF treatments, we have one child. If we are going to have #2, we will adopt.

I went to a big party over the holidays where most of the couples, who were in their mid-late 30s, were married and did not have kids. A few I know have talked about never having kids, I don't know about the others but it seems like many aren't planning to.
In my immediate circle of friends, there are 2 couples (late 30s/early 40s) who are adamantly opposed to kids.

9:27, I'd love to be friends with your friends. We should form a group.

I know quite a few people, couples, who don't have kids. But I am 30, and most of these people are under 39. I suppose half of them will by the time they're 40.

I would like to be part of that group, too! My husband and I are now seeking out people who don't plan to have kids - we're getting worried that we'll lose all our friends to babies. (We're in our late 30s.)

I guess it's okay if you don't want kids, although even then it may be alienating, but when you want kids, it hurts to see life kinda go on around you with the kids...
