I am a Quincy Place resident who wants to let everyone know about my FABULOUS babysitter, Marilyn. She has been babysitting my son full time since I first went back to work and he was 3 months old (daycare had fallen through at the last minute!). She is from Argentina, speaks both Spanish and English, and runs an incredible daycare from her home in the 16th Street Heights neighborhood (5 mins. From Columbia height metro station ). She takes the kids out to the park 2x a day, music classes, reading time at the library, and other activities. She is excellent with children, very trustworthy and will give you a daily report on your child and help him/her work on certain skills. She is kind, loving and the children absolutely adore her!! She is looking for more kids to babysit on a full time basis but she will consider part time kids as well. She works with infants from 6 weeks on up. I can not say enough about how wonderful she is!!.

Is Marilyn licensed? I thought you could only have 2 infants at a time at an in home dyacre in DC? She sounds great and may be just what I am looking for, but I only want a licensed daycare.
