I went at the after work rush. Yes, they serve liquor, beer and wine (all near the seafood, meats section I believe).

It is located in NE DC by the NY Ave entrance to 50 and BW Parkway

PP here, I think it's a smidge smaller than the one by Wegmans in Woodmore. Also there's no gas station bc it is directly across the street from a town home community.

Woo hoo! (Unlike nearby Beltsville.)

Hopefully it's easier to get to than Pentagon City. How's the parking?

Is there access from southbound South Dakota Ave? That would make it dead easy for me to get to.

I would think that it would definitely have southbound access. As a DC resident I'm excited to support it.

yes, there is. You exit by the light across from Goodwill and and can make a left onto Southbound South Dakota.

It looks like Pentagon City is still more convenient for me. Damn.

I live on the Hill and went yesterday. It is much easier to get to than the one in Pentagon City and the parking situation is much easier. It is bigger too. I would give it a try. You don't have to get on NY Ave. Stay on Bladensburg through the NY Ave intersection and turn on V street (the first street you come to). You zip right down to it and avoid the traffic.

Ugh ok. I'll suck it up and join. What's the fee for me and my DH to be members?

Are there any deals for new memberships?
