Do you think Amal Clooney is pretty?

It's because they're always posing their best angles whenever they spot a camera

I'll never my friend goes, "THATS WHO CLOONEY MARRIED??" I THOUGHT SHE WAS PRETTY?? SHES FUGLY"! To each their own, but don't make me!

Calm down girl. Aren’t you busy enough with your father-in-law & sister-in-law both having cancer? Say hi to Harry. Go ‘Cats!

Agree. If she didn’t have all that money to spend on clothes, a stylist etc. & someone to handle those eyebrows, she’d look just like she did before Clooney. I’ve seen many pics of her when she was just another lawyer living in London. She was plain, dull, with no sense of style AT ALL.
Just think about it for a sec. BILLIONS equals access to the BEST of everything!!
Any one of us here, with all the right tools, could look as glamorous! When is the last time someone fixed your hair, put your makeup on…etc etc brought FABULOUS clothes to YOUR house??!!
I REST MY CASE!!

Amal Clooney is white.

I doubt she identifies as white.

I have no idea how she identifies, but Lebanese people seem generally to consider themselves white.

They’re only white when it’s convenient. Right now being white is not in vogue.

These labels are reductive and are of little importance to most people outside of the US.

Speaking as someone with Lebanese and Arab relatives, this is 100% correct. Jewish people do the same thing. Slip in and out of white identity based on expedience.

To answer OP’s question, Amal Clooney is well dressed, well groomed, thin, and elegant, but if someone told me she was born male, I could believe it. There’s a distinctly masculine cast to her features that makes her more handsome than beautiful.

Speaking as an immigrant, this isn’t true.

What type of immigrant in what country? At least give us some context.

If you need “context” in order to understand that whiteness is a form of currency all over the world at this point in history, then there’s nothing I can say that you will accept.

I did not suggest that white privilege does not exist. It's more that putting an ethnically diverse place (the Middle East) into one bucket is reductive. Also, I suggest you speak to Middle Easterners living in the US following 9/11.

I don’t think she is pretty, but she looks very elegant.
