Actually, there are zero dollars that go into Zalensky's pockets or even leave the US. The money is spent on arms made by US defense contractors and then shipped to Ukraine.

We are giving weapons to Ukraine to fight Russia so NATO and US troopse hopefully won't have to. There is an accounting of where everything is going and how it is used.

Sounds like the corporate wing of Republicans are trying to unify to take back the party from the MAGA wing. I think they see the writing on the wall for November and know that some one will need to stick around and clean up the wreckage.

I think some really damaging stuff is about to come out about Trump at his trial this week. So you're now seeing efforts by Murdoch, McConnell, Koch family, etc. to reclaim the party from the MAGA-Bannon wing.

Which is why the GOP won't be relevant in national elections until they do. They simply don't have enough support without the MAGAs, which, frankly, is the only reason Trump won in the first place.
