There is a posting on MOTH, but no details provided. Has anyone heard about this tragedy and can share some information?

Look, I'm on the MOTH listserve and the woman who wrote was tangential, so it's not like she was confiding and her confidence is somehow being broken. She also has no details (also in the post).
Frankly, if it had happened at any of our daycares, we would know about it. Something tells me this will work its way out. It's completely tragic, but I don't think the OP did anything wrong. Yeesh. |

My child is at the affected center. An infant was found unresponsive in its crib - a real tragedy for all involved. It was an isolated and horrific tragedy. Licensing had no concerns with the quality of care and the center remains open for business today. I had no concerns whatsoever about sending my child back to school today.
[bold]Please, out of respect for the family involved, let's shut down this conversation.[/bold] There are no concerns about quality of care involved, so this really isn't a topic that needs to be discussed on DCUM. |
