S/O: Do you wear underwear under yoga or exercise pants?

Anonymous
I never do but the no underwear post made me rethink!

I never do either.

Ew.

I do, for sure.

Depends...

At the gym hell yes.

At home after a bath or just lounging not always.

Not tasteful. Feminine discharge goes directly onto your pants? I guess if you launder them after exercise, what does it matter, but not decent to have private parts be tightly wrapped by pants.

no, I never wear underwear with jogging leggings or yoga pants to work out. It creates a very strange panty line--- not a good look, ladies.

Why is it gross, PP? I don't get that at all.

I wear a thong under my gym clothes and seriously....who gives a flying fuck what ym panty line looks like while exercising? I am red and dripping sweat.

So the crotch sweat doesn't get absorbed into undies but instead leaves a mark everyone can see? Gross.

a thong, yes. gross otherwise!

Never.

Never. I really don't get why people get so grossed out by this, if it really is about discharge does it actually make a huge difference whether it is in my underwear or my yoga pants? Also on the sweat factor if I work out hard enough crotch sweat would go through the underwear anyway- I personally find it more comfortable, I have tried it both ways and nothing horrible or disgusting has ever happened!

When working out I put on a clean pair of workout pants, sans undies, and afterwards they go right into the wash. What is the point in another layer?

I usually wear underwear under my yoga pants and yes, I do have pantylines, because I cannot stand thongs, but I don't care. It makes me feel more comfortable and I choose underwear as seamless as possible. I did wear yoga pants before without an underwear and it had to be washed right away even though I was not really sweating much. I can't imagine have to wash tons of yoga pants if you have to wear them every day. That's a lot of fabric that doesn't need washing and I am sure they'd wear out much quicker, sounds like a waste, this is why underwear was invented.

I sometimes wear a pantyliner with yoga pants if going to a class or going outside, but at home I always wear underwear under my exercise pants.
