I just made a batch of meatballs and I'm stumped as to what to serve it with. I normally cook it with homemade tomato-based spaghetti sauce but I don't really feel like pasta again. Any ideas? |

Back in my single days, I used to regularly saute a bit of onion in olive oil, then add the meatballs (halved or quartered), then add chopped tomatoes and fresh spinach. Top with a bit of parm at the end. |
Egg noodles with mushroom gravy?
Oops--I guess that's pasta. Sort of. But different than the ol' spaghetti. If they're small and you want to make a party appetizer out of them, here's what you do: Mix equal portions of ketchup and grape jelly in a small saucepan. I'm not kidding. Add the meatballs. Heat. Fish them out onto a plate and serve with toothpicks. |
