How are you dealing with potty regression?

DD was potty trained at 14mos. She would come to me and say she had to go pee or poop and I'd assist her with her pants and climbing on the potty.
Same thing for public places. I had a folding potty ring in the diaper bag and she'd let me know she had to go when we were out and about. I ditched the diapers and never looked back. Except 10 weeks ago when #2 arrived and she completely regressed 
Now we're training her again and she won't say when she has to go. We have to keep asking her and reminding her to go. We're doing the MMs thing and she'll go sit there just to get the darn candy. She'll even go all by herself and sit there and point CANDY MOM just to get candy not that she really have to go. So annoying! She's 2years and 2mos old. How should I deal with this? Keep rewarding her? We don't have accidents at home but on the go OMG it's a mess! I always take her to the bathroom before leaving but still she pees in the car. I'm so frustrated... Help! |
