^This is correct. You are confusing genres, although there is overlap.

Lots of tradwives are just SAH wives and mothers who have dinner on the table at 6, stay fit, and are not cadaverous lays. Most are not into homemade paper, canning beans, and all that BS. That's a separate thing.

not on tiktok they're not.

they all have some insanely extreme version of perfection they are trying to project and it's sooo toxic.

OP are you referring to Nara Smith. I'm fascinated by her life. She and her husband are both models. They got married 4 years ago, and they have three children. She's 22 and he's 25. He has another child from a former relationship. She started modeling at age 14. Her husband, Lucky, started modeling at age 10. He's been in all the magazines; Vogue, GQ, Elle, etc. He's done runway work for all the big names, Balmain, Tom Ford, Versace, etc. They met through modeling while they were both living in LA. They now live in Michigan. Their kids' names are Rumble Honey, Whimsy Lou, and Slim Easy. Lucky's older child is Gravity Blue. He is from Utah and grew up LDS. She was born in South Africa but grew up in Germany.

I just cannot with any adult who uses TikTok.

So why even open the thread? Because you're a moron?

This ^^. They are suffocating under the weight of misogyny, but either don't know it or aren't willing to admit it and do something about it. And for some bizarre reason they respond by making homemade paper with ^%$*ing dried flowers or some $^%# in it.

Agree.

Wannabe tradwife begging for dirt-cheap RENTAL to start up her farm so her home-schooled girls can learn to be tradwives themselves

Wow. Lol. That is off the hook.

Their credit scores are below 600 and they "kennel" their cat when they aren't home? This is a great laugh.

There is literally no good reason to do 99% of the sh*t these people do. We are all already SO so busy being passable parents without adding absolutely pointless aspirational amish-like extra layer.
I am really excited for this whole trend to just jog on by. Git.

I agree with you but.. neither is TikTok!! Break the chains.

No more odd than watching TikTok and then posting about it.

Hey, an OP posts on DCUM - about TikTok no less - they are running the risk that people will disagree and/or mock them. It’s an anonymous internet discussion board. That’s what happens.

My favorite is the lady who home schools her 42 month old and bakes with her eyes closed in a very flowy dress.

Yesss. This is the one I, thinking about. And she has her head cocked to the side as she does it. She’s always making homemade pasta or cereal or bread for her toddler. It’s weird.

I have toddlers and wonder what all hers are doing while she makes homemade pasta for hours. I’d rather be more present with my kids.
