Are there not that many women like me who prefer swimsuits with shorts style coverage on the bottom?

Lands end has options for either bike short style bottoms or skirted bottoms. I wear suits that look more.vintage, usually a tankini style with a skirted bottom.

I learned the hard way that swim shorts are better than bikini bottoms at the water park. DD also found that bikini bottoms are horrible for body surfing; sand gets in your bottom.

No one hates women like women.

? We are sharing the type of bathing suits we like. Some women like covered bottoms so they don't get sand in their hoohaa, and other women like cheeky bottoms so they can tan. Win win.

I like to wear a skirt to cover my stretch marks and some sag I have from losing 40lbs.

Athleta surge swim shorts. I wear them with a regular bikini top, or a rash guard if I want more sun protection.

I prefer shorts style, too. I think the move towards this in Women’s Gymnastics needs to spill over into everyday fashion. No more male influence in women’s fashion so they can hope to catch a glimpse of the goods.

They make me look more boxy, I have an athletic trim figure . Like them for function but not fashion on my particular body

They are wildly unflattering, but yes, I’d love to give my whole butt and upper thighs.

I sunburn easily and prefer those types of swimsuits.

Mine are a skirt with tankini and a rash guard because o hate sunscreen and shaving. I don’t mind seeing any person in a bikini, but I can throw on my stuff and not need any layers to go into any store

they aren't shorts, then, or their public hair is like 4" long?

Yes, but skorts, not shorts or even skirts. I feel super safe in skorts.

I wear shorts to swim in. Literally the only one at my pool who does. Yes, I need some coverage and prefer not to have to worry about if I waxed or shave that day.

I buy them separate and just match a swim top. I also often wear rash guards for son protection- so I look very conservative!

I do feel more comfortable going to pool/shops/sitting and eating while wearing the shorts.

The Land’s End swim shorts are great! I think I look good in a bikini too, but did I mention that the shorts have *pockets*?? And so much easier not to have to worry about changing if you don’t want to when you’re done swimming.
