Most of the people in this country care about their money and their children’s lives. Israel endangers both. The only people that care about Israel is the corrupt power class. |
Most people care about whether they are better off now than 4 years ago. I think the answer is a resounding "no." |
How many times has the right wing president won the popular vote? Once in fives time and that was 20 years ago. This country is not center right. The political system has been constructed to weigh urban and suburban voters as less vs urban voters. It takes 20 states to equal California’s population yet those 20 states have 40 senators while California has 2. |
I support a two state solution and the rights of Palestinians not to get murdered en masse.
However, Biden is hemmed in on the Gaza War question because the GOP is rabidly anti-Muslim and anti-Arab, and therefore, when it suits them, pro-Israel (they're rabidly anti-Semites at other times). And some progressives are repulsed by all the dollars and US weapons being used to kill Gazans, sent to Israel by the US. This is a politcal hot potato for Biden's campaign. His best bet is redirection to abortion, his record in infrastructure and healthcare, his many reforms, etc. |
Less than 2 percent of Americans regard the conflict in Gaza as their most important issue. Social media wildly distorts the perceived influence of a tiny minority of people. There are just a few thousand pro-Palestinian protesters. The other 300 million Americans have other concerns and are broadly sympathetic to Israel. |
Your problem is that those 2% are in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Good luck with that! *As an aside, I am a Democrat in Virginia, as a f*** you to Biden, I won’t even bother voting, it won’t matter much but it will be a good moment. |
If those 300 million have decided to become slaves to Israel then they deserve everything coming their way. |
OMG. You are truly unhinged. |
THANK YOU. Finally some common sense. |
The only people who are rabidly antisemitic are LWNJs/“progressives” - as we’ve all witnessed, they have made that abundantly clear. Republicans have always supported Israel and Jews. You seem grossly out of touch, which is unsurprising. |
Considering the facts that Virginia was by far the most populated state when the Constitution was ratified and many of the most influential framers of the Constitution were from Virginia, I think it's safe to say our political system wasn't "constructed" in a manner that was intended to prioritize voters and citizen representation geographically. The Electoral College hasn't caused the political dysfunction of the past few decades. It has a purpose. We have a very powerful House of Representatives made up of representation based on state population. If the individual states had more power based on population, the entire country would be subject to the wants and needs of California, Texas, Florida, and New York in an unbalanced way and most of the country doesn't want many of the extreme views and policies of those four states. |
Right back at you, Hamas supporter. DP |
Status quo is a hard thing to give up, I can understand all the privileges that come with the current setup. As far a people like you are concerned, you will not stop until every American is required to take an oath of loyalty to Israel, it’s already happening when people have to sign contract at state level. The tragedy is that you have no loyalty towards America, everything you do is for Israel, America is just a means to an end. |
The US is a republic, not a democracy. It’s shameful this needs to be explained to you. |
He is getting aid to Gaza. He is trying to get the hostages out. He is trying to get a cease fire. He is trying to get a two-state solution. These are things Trump would never do. |
