“Give them a hug for me”, “Tell her I said hi” etc - Do you ever actually relay the hug or message?

If I remember to do so. Which is probably less than half the time.

If it’s someone I’m close to I absolutely hug a bit extra and say “Oh and this is one Jean said to give you”

I always convey a verbal message, and if someone says, "Give 'em a hug from me," I say, "Larla says Hi!"

I think it goes along with telling the second person about your interaction with the first person.

I can't imagine telling DW "I ran into Larla at CVS. She said they're buying a boat." And not adding, "She said to say hi."

In fact, I've probably said "She said to say hi" a few times when Larla didn't actually.

I usually do, yes. Just this morning when I dropped my dad at the airport, he said, "Tell <DH's Name> I love him.

And I did.

I give hugs and will kiss on lips if I feel like it. Which is often. Sort of exciting to me in a weird way. I like it.
