Awesome jeans for upcoming reunion

The title says it all. Money is no object at this point! I'm extremely short on time and, consdering I'm 5'5", I know I'll probably have to have most jeans hemmed.

My build: definitely pear shaped (maybe even spoon shaped - I have no real boobs) - 130 lbs. The only problem parts of my body are my hips, butt, and upper thighs. My butt is not flat or wide, which is good - but it's not Kim Kardashian's either. It's just round - not a true bubble. Also, it creates for that waist gap issue on many jeans.

I've been lusting after the Hudson Signature bootcut style, but I'm worried that the pockets (although cute) will make my butt stick out even more. I've also looked at the Paige Hudson Hills style and am wondering if that would be better.

Yes, I'm buying online - Zappos will get it here in a day or two and then I can rush it off to the tailor's in time for my event. Between work and kids, I have no time to head to Nordstroms.

Any suggestions?

Order several pairs and try them on and send back the ones you don't like. Zappo's has free shipping both ways and even if they didn't, it's worth a couple of bucks to get to try on several pairs at once. Jeans are extremely personal and there's no way to tell online what is going to look great.

Honestly...I would definitely try them in store. OP where do you work? If you are in Bethesda area could you take an hour at lunch and go to Luna (have a huge selection, and there are various other stores?

I can never buy the right pair of jeans without trying many on beforehand unless I know the exact brand and model (which I would have tried on before).

OP here. Thanks for your tips. Yes, I wish I had time to focus on this in person. I let time escape me and only just realized that I'm going to need to look fabulous for this semi-outdoor, casual event. Thus, the rush to get perfect jeans.

Does anyone have any personal experience with Hudson jeans and a round rear? Do those pockets really make your butt stick out?

I think I've narrowed my hopes to three different pairs. Zappos, here I come.

Sshhhh, but Costco just got in Lucky Brand bootcut not-too-low-jeans in tons of sizes and lengths. Best fitting pair of jeans I've owned since I cared.

Sorry, I just noticed the mail order requirement.

" Money is no object at this point!" get one of those personal shoppers. You just need one outfit.

Wear what Inez Sainz wears!

Seriously. call Nordstorm or Saks and have them pull several pairs for you. One stop shopping and they can do the alterations right there. Did this myself for my husband's reunion that we decided to attend last minute.

Hi everyone, it's OP back with an update -- just for posterity's sake.

Well, the Hudson jeans fit but my fears were realized. Those pockets are made for those without natural bootys. If you already got one, they are not flattering in the least. Otherwise, they fit great.

I ended up with these: http://www.zappos.com/mavi-jeans-molly-mid-rise-bootcut-in-rinse-st-tropez-rinse-st-tropez

They fit great and were very flattering to curves. I also don't need to get them hemmed as I will be wearing a small heel with them.
Still, I'm going to make one more order to see if I can find something with a little flair at the bottom.

Anyway, just thought I'd update for anyone searching for similar jeans in the future.
