Looking for a new OB in SS

Anonymous
I was previously with GW MFA and had both kids at GW. We moved to SS and the next baby (not pregnant yet) will likely be born at Holy Cross. Anyone have an OB/GYN recommendation for Holy Cross? I am pretty laid-back an have no special needs. Both prior pregnancies were vaginal births with epidurals. I do have some issues with excessive weight gain, so if the doctor is not sensitive to that, please do not recommend.

Thanks

I got to OBGYN Associates, which is in the physicians building attached to holy cross. I see Morales, but have met the others. It's a big practice but folks seem to like them. Their website is horrible, but don't let that scare you off.

These two listed above are basically the only choices in SS. These is also a second CWC practice on Lockwood. There are no small practices.

What she said! Heather delivered my second child at Holy Cross. She's a great ob/gyn. No nonsense, explains everything, really nice. I've seen all the other docs at CWC and am happy with all of them.

I go to Traver Levitt Berger-Weiss on Lockwood Dr. I was overweight to begin with but didn't gain excessively so not sure how they deal with that. They did not hassle me about my pre-pregnancy weight though.

Dr Potts delivered my first and dr travers delivered my second. They are great and supported having a doula there both times. Really good experience with them and holy cross.

I also see Dr. Morales at OBGYN Associates - pro: big practice so you can always see someone, con: big practice so it's always busy. Carolyn was great and let me use the hospital's breast pump to try to get things moving for an hour.

There's also CWC on Forest Glen Road (connected to Holy Cross). Dr. Ein and many other great doctors there. They have a reputation for being interventionist, but I've always been happy there.

Also had a great experience with Travers, Levitt, Burger-Weiss at CWC on Lockwood. I gained 10 lbs TTC and 50 in pregnancy but was not overweight beforehand. They were helpful and constructive in offering advice around eating in pregnancy and post pardum but not judgey at all. Great birth experience at HC.

Dr. Kleinman at OB-GYN associates. Also really like Dr. Jacobs at that practice as well.

I use Dr. Jacobs at OBGYN Associates and he is wonderful. I have a high-risk pregnancy and he is just fantastic. Though it is a large practice, I have never had an issue getting an appointment to see him. He is so caring and reassuring. Cannot say enough great things about him!

Dr. Pinckert at GWMFM is in Silver Spring and Rockville. I don't know where he delivers. I had a consult with him because I was high-risk. He's great. I ended up not using him because it wasn't convenient, but I was impressed with him and the practice.
