What to advise friend whose 6 year old has boobs?

My friend's 6 year old girl has boobs. She has no idea what to do or what kind of doctor to see. Her PED is not being very helpful and says there is nothing he can do about it. My friend wants to know how to stop puberty and why this is happening. She is beside herself and crying all the time. Can someone tell me how to direct her?

This could be a real post. I developed early but my parents let me develop- I was not taken around to doctors like a freak show.

Buy a bra and move on. Buy clothes that are appropriate. Make sure she knows about good touch/bad touch. And don't let her be one of those kids running around naked in public places.

You people are so ignorant, it's pathetic. This happened to my cousin. She saw a pediatric endocrinologist and has been on hormones ever since in order to avoid getting her period before 10-11. Tell your friend to find a pediatric endocrinologist. This is quite serious.

How is that sex related? A child developing breasts at age of 6 is a medical issue.
