Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, or Kansas City?

If you had to choose one to live in one of the above, which would you choose, and why?

Denver. All the other options sound miserable.

+1 for Denver

Denver. There is really no question here. I say this as a former resident of both KC and Dallas.

Denver.

beautiful place, clean, very outdoorsy population.

KC? really? Shoot yourself first.

Atlanta and Dallas are hot humid miserable crowded, among the better attributes.

Easy choice. Denver. It's beautiful, good quality of life, and pockets for everybody (liberal, conservative, etc.)

I really disliked Denver, but I'm not outdoorsy at all. IDK.

Denver! Love the mountains. We're hoping to move there in two years.

Dallas! Loads of options for living (great schools, great neighborhood), tons of family friendly stuff to do, major improvement in highway driving...yes, it is hot but that's why they invented air conditioning!

Denver - hands down!!!!

-Atlanta native here who would never move back but still go for family visits (and Atlanta proper, not some far flung 'burb).

Dallas. Lived there for a couple years. Great cost of living, friendly people, rare winters.

I thought KC was pretty. Near that upscale outdoor shopping area? Forget the name. There were some lovely older homes nearby...

Friends live in Hotlanta and really like it...their house is pretty...

I've never been to Denver, but I have spent a significant amount of time in Dallas, Atlanta and KC. If even 10% of the good things I've heard about Denver are true, it wins easily. Dallas is a monument to McMansions and sprawl, and it's filled with Texans. Atlanta is humid, rivals NJ as the strip mall capital of the world, and is full of southerners. KS is just kinda blah. I'm assuming you're talking about the Missouri side, but if not, you get the added benefit of your kids learning "intelligent design" or some such nonsense in school.

I'm from Georgia so I'd probably take Atlanta. Second choice Dallas. Third, Denver. KC not an option in any world.

I am, too, and I wouldn't live in Atlanta if you paid me to. Or Dallas, either... (may explain why I'm in DC; I can't stand Southern "cities.") Denver, in a heart beat.

Why are you asking, OP?
