My Peapod delivery is late!

I chose the 8-10 pm delivery window. They called at 10 and said the driver was behind schedule and would be here at 10:30. He's still not here. I'm so exhausted and want to put pj's on. Frustrating.

Does he still get a tip?

Yes but i'd send an email to peapod to see if they'll waive the delivery fee.

Put on your PJs anyway. I figure if they don't want to see a middle-aged woman in PJs, they ought to make the delivery time. I do usually tip unless they are obnoxious.

OP here. He showed up about 15 mins ago. I am a softie too and I live in a third floor walk up. Great for my thighs but not for this old guy with a dolly full of boxes. So I did tip him $5.00, even though he told me right away that six items were missing (not his fault apparently) and for me to call customer service. And I WILL be doing that first thing tomorrow morning.

Never had a problem before so I'm just gonna let this go and hope it's better next time.
