Recommendation for OB/GYN in Arlington or GWU

Moved recently to the area, looking for a good practice. Thanks in advance!

I like Dr. Danielle Holmes, but not completely convinced the office staff is that great. And, there is always a wait, but she is very kind, patient and seems quite intelligent and competent.

I would not recommend Danielle Holmes. while she might be a great doctor to see in the surgery / office I have named her the NON attending, attending doctor, while on call. Had a great experience with the other doctors at Women to Women. But two false labour call outs in the middle of the night while Dr Holmes was on call resulted in her not even bothering to make an appearance at the hospital either time. Spoke only to hospital staff. Incredibly frustrating as she was not available for discussion. Ended up going back into hospital 12 hours later, when she was no longer on call and being attended to. To lazy to make a middle of the night visit, so no high opionion of her.

I love the GWU practice - in particular, Drs. Macri and Keller.

I see Amy Porter also. I have also seen a few of the other drs. in that practice including Dr. Winterline and Dr. Nguyen. They're all wonderful. The only complaint I have about that practice is, they are SO wonderful, that everyone and their sister seems to go there, and therefore it's kind of (kind of) a zoo and hard to get an appt. Also, I don't know how this compares with other ob/gyn offices, but it's hard to go there when you are going through or have gone through infertility, because you feel like a fish out of water, and it's like a baby-making factory there.

Women to Women in Arlington. It's right next to the hospital. It's a small practice with only a few doctors, but they all work in tandem so that if you can't get one you prefer you'll at least know (and like) the others. They delivered two of my boys- very helpful with at risk pregnancies.

Dr. Holmes is amazing! The doctors and staff at Women to Women, has such great beside manner. Dr. Holmes did my deliver at 3am in the morning; it took her less than 15 minutes to get to the hospital to labor sit with me. They do an average of 50 deliveries per month; so this is one patients opinion out of 49 others.
