My kid plays for GFR. We know exactly 2 kids across several different age groups who are leaving. Everyone else is staying on their current team or has been moved up.

I’ve heard the 2015B, 2011B, and 2010B teams have lost at least 5 players each. Not sure where everyone is going though I know many from the 2015s are going with coach to Herndon, and some from the 2011 are moving up to NVA.

I have heard some of these mentioned are going to VDA, some to Loudon, some quitting the sport.

The change of technical director has caused at least one to leave.

There are no lawsuits, unless someone wants to share a link to something, then there are none.

RP left and is coaching a boys team at Herndon for next year.

KB has not popped up anywhere new, it would not surprise me if he takes a position in Maryland considering he lives near Hagerstown.

A few other coaches have left and found other clubs. That's all folks.

We decided to stay with GFR bc DC was moved up to top team in age group. We had 3 other offers from nearby clubs but they would have been lateral moves. I hope we don’t regret the decision. GFR is bringing in brand new coach and I’m praying he’s not as toxic and demoralizing as our current coach.
Anyone else decide to stay despite offers from other clubs?
