If you live in Georgetown/DC/NOVA all of this is "normal." Politics is a disgusting business - few women would voluntarily choose to work in it long-term. You either have young ones interested in making difference or there by some sort of benevolent connection - well-behaved ones or women like Hope who will do anything to climb the ladder. Don't know how she was so public with her deeds though. That's a new low.

As for Donovan, that guy is reputation conscious AF. Did not surprise me one bit when the press reports his kids staying with him in VA after the divorce. Stop the non-sense. His wife took care of the kids in DC. He also tried to accuse her of infidelity during their divorce. Divorce records aren't normally sealed here unless there's something real bad or $$ damaging to them. Not an easy sell. My hunch is his child out of wedlock sealed the records for him.

Hope is 22 years younger than him. Age gap relationships aren't uncommon in these parts but Hope is way older than the average one here.

Greenwich is basically a small city, with a very, very large gap between the town’s UMC and mega wealthy. Respectfully, as another women living the DC area, I think we are more down-to-earth and natural compared to large cities. Our dress style seems a bit more conservative but that dynamic is changing and there are many traditional marriages here. My kids went to NCS/SAS and knew his kids as well. For privacy I won't post their names but did your kids know C or B? C is Burnette at SAS. I had met his eldest from NCS in passing with the youngest occasionally. Breaks my heart to see the kids go through this. He seems quite possessive for someone of his stature or something must be off.

How do you know he got a woman pregnant while married? That would be a real dealbreaker for me, if I were someone like HH. Older guy with baggage is one thing, but getting someone married while still married is a bridge too far.
