Do you people have any good reasons TO vote for Biden, not reasons to vote against Trump? It's always "but Trump." What else you got? What does he really have to offer? How is Biden planning to make our lives better?

Yes! Biden brought back the economy. His CHIPS and infrastructure acts have increased American manufacturing jobs. We are the largest producer of oil. Biden straightened out the student loan mess. He has really done a fabulous job. Make no mistake, I am voting for Biden! I am very happy with his administration, Bigly.

Tell us, specifically how he has straightened out the "student loan mess." Be specific.

DP...it is still a mess, but the GOP won't make any bi-partisan attempts at fixing it, so Biden is doing what he can, which is to alleviate the debt of people who have already paid all of the principal and a good portion of interest back to the US Government.

So, Biden hasn't straightened out the mess at all. In fact, he has made it worse.
Meanwhile, Republicans are working at actually getting to the root of the problem.

Republican bill would cap student borrowing, make colleges liable for unpaid loans

Let's be serious here. The Republican proposal doesn't actually "fix" anything either. The real aim of that bill is to damage and undermine higher education, because they blame liberal strength on academia and education and want to take that away from Americans. However the sad reality of it is that it will do far more damage to trade schools. The better answer would be things like finding ways to push down the cost of education and trade schools, and not allowing things like predatory practices by private providers and eliminating excessive interest rates.

That “news” article was devoid of any substance.

Meanwhile, the President of the United States has to wear sneakers with his suit in public because he falls so often. And everyone is pretending it’s not only normal, but desirable.

What other important job would we trust to a man so old and unstable on his feet he wears sneakers daily?

He wears the sneakers because of a degenerative condition from too much cycling and jogging. The idea that he wears sneakers to prevent falling over is laughably inane.

President Biden and his staff are working on an urgent project to protect his re-election bid: a don't-trip strategy, Axios' Alex Thompson writes.

Why it matters: Democrats, including some in the administration, are terrified Biden will have a bad fall — with a nightmare scenario of it happening in the weeks before the 2024 election.
As voters express deep concerns about the 80-year-old president's age, Biden's team is taking extra steps to prevent him from stumbling in public — as he did in June, when he tripped over a sandbag at the Air Force Academy.

So Biden has been a big jogger and cyclist throughout his life?

Doesn’t exercise keep you well?

And after a while human parts begin to deteriorate. I guess Donald won't have this problem. But then again, he needs help walking down ramps and stairs.

Biden has been jogging and cycling to the point he has deteriorated his feet and legs? I see he went on a bike ride and fell from a stand still on vacation, but have never seen any photos that show him jogging or cycling daily or weekly. I’ve never seen he has participated in marathons or races or fun runs, even. He’s been photographed eating ice cream constantly.

Biden must be working out quite a bit because if I constantly ate ice cream I'd be a bloated lardass like Trump.

Trump was given cue cards as well. Here is a photo of one giving him prompts on what to say to mass shooting victims. In his case, not only does he need cue cards because he is forgetful and uninformed, more importantly he’s given them because he lacks basic human empathy.

But, but, but..... Trump.
That's all you got to divert attention from the cognitive mess that cosplays as president.

You can’t see the forest for the trees. On the cognitive issue, anything that can be said about Biden can also be said about Trump. So that really tends to blunt any criticism levied against Biden regarding his age or cognitive ability.

To be fair, I think about zero posters on this thread could pronounce Taoiseach correctly, never mind explain the role in the Irish government. Or name the person who currently holds the position.

Biden needs a card with the name and picture of the person sitting right next to him.
Bless his heart.

And Trump thinks he’s running against Obama and mistook a photo of E Jean Carroll for that of his former wife. Your point?

You clearly have never worked for someone at the directorial level who meets with foreign dignitaries. I used to have to make phonetic spellings of names for my organization’s director. And you don’t seem to know much about Irish names. Some of them are ridiculously hard to pronounce correctly for anyone who do doesn’t know Irish.

Also Biden is open about how he prepares his written remarks to deal with his stutter.

LOL.
PP - go back 10-20 years or more. Find footage of Biden that indicates he has a stutter.
You won't find any because it doesn't exist. I'm not saying he NEVER had a stutter.... he might have back in his Corn Pop days.
Seems his WH and campaign staff are using the "stutter" as an excuse for dismissing his slurs and word salads.

Biden is the best argument against social security I've ever seen. He's like 20 years past retirement age, shuffling and mumbling and yelling, and people are like, yeah, he's the best person to represent american interests every day.

One learns to manage a stutter. It never goes away. that you think it doesn't exist shows how well he manages it.
