If you read enough threads you will clearly see that men are posting - I doubt that all of them are married.

Single men do not have to be the only ones who can answer this question, therefor, I think this is a good forum for the question!

Agree Milano, but this might be more the single 60-something man crowd and the men who are taking off their wedding rings for the night...

If you like military types, try Union Street Public House in Old Town. Fado in Pentagon Row attracts a similar crowd at happy hour. Also, you see single guys in that age range in Lyon Hall and Liberty Tavern in Clarendon.

(signed - 39-year-old single girl who still goes out at least once a week.)

44 year old female here - I also go out in Arlington often (Liberty a lot) - I find most of the guys here are in their 30's (which is fine with me ). During the week - Harry's Tap Room has an older crowd. Chef Geoff's and Cafe Deluxe in Tysons during the week attracts this crowd.

Anyone ever go to Clydes in Tysons for HH - heard it is a good HH just not sure about age range.

I'm 41 and single. What about in the city? I can't and don't want to go out to Clarendon/Tyson's. Any advice?

For the "long haul," I'd rather meet a future husband in church rather than in a bar.
