Yep, they play NCSL with other local clubs’ second teams. McLean White, Loudoun Black…. |
2010 boys had tryouts at Bolen on Monday. Not many showed up. |
You don't want to be on an FCV accept anyone team. Most of the players are weaker than a recreational league level and you play competitive teams so it's only embarrassing for your DD orda. |
AB is out of what? Nationals? His leadership job? Details please. |
no surprise. AB wrecks everything he touches. |
AB needs to go. 2 weeks out from a tournament and his plan seems to be to roster 22 player and play 18 so some girls won't play some of the games since they failed to register both teams for the age group for tournaments. |
Which age? |
This is not new. I heard several years ago a kid n FCV07 was not rostered for tournaments. |
If you are willing to pay money, you get a spot at the new St. James. No tryout necessary. Nothing like $3000 rec fee. |
Bless park will have turf soon? Is this confirmed? |
I don't see any mention of turf at https://www.loudoun.gov/blesparkimprovements. Also, the timeline for those particular improvements says "substantial completion" in Summer 2025. |
I'd push back on this, the St James development is completely different at U12-U9 than FCV North. Their 3rd team (black) just beat at more established clubs' 1st team. The ball mastery development in Springfield is quite advanced. Like most clubs, they do have some room for new players and the fees are $2500 not including uniforms and winter programs, but thats in the ball park as most other clubs. |
I'm not doubting the win, but is there an actual place to see team records? I can't seem to find it.NCSL has a bunch of zeros. |
The "improvements" say nothing about the soccer fields at all: In addition to adding adequate and safe parking for the use of the existing sports fields, the plan also would add pavilions, canoe/kayak launch, multi-generation playgrounds, skate spots, an off-leash dog area, tennis and pickleball courts, and overlook areas. When completed, the project will offer safe and accessible parks and recreation opportunities by means of inter-connected open space that provide diverse activities for all ages, interests, and abilities. If anything, it looks like a reduction in the field space to add in all the other stuff they mention. |
No "artificial turf" at Bles but it will continue to have "turf" which is Bermuda grass fields. |
